CIFGA is a chemical-pharmaceutical company, belonging to the AMSLab group, dedicated to the development of analytical standards through biotechnology, specialising in the development of reference materials for the agri-food, textile and cosmetics sectors, with standards for compounds such as biotoxins, dyes, additives or fragrances. These materials are obtained from the company’s know-how related to the cultivation of producer organisms and the application of different extraction and purification protocols. Specific analyses are developed and carried out with different HPLC and NMR techniques to achieve the production of the compounds of interest. It is the only company producing marine biotoxin standards in Europe and the only one in the world with accreditation as a producer of certified marine biotoxin reference materials according to ISO 17034.
