iBoneLab is an expert laboratory in the evaluation of the integration of biomaterials and medical devices on living tissues. At iBoneLab we specialise in histological processing using the thin film technique, which allows microscopic visualization of tissues and materials regardless of their hardness. This technique, together with the implementation of various analysis methods, allows us to provide reliable information on the behavior of tissues in response to the implanted materials. We can also prepare reports in accordance with the ISO 10993 standard, with the aim of obtaining CE marking or FDA approval for the products evaluated. The laboratory is in the process of obtaining accreditation in Good Laboratory Practices. At iBoneLab we also have extensive experience in the performance and evaluation of computerized microtomography studies, as well as in the field of conventional histology or techniques such as immunohistochemistry, polarised light microscopy, and fluorescence. iBoneLab acts as a contract research organization (CRO) for the performance of preclinical studies. Our team consists of highly qualified veterinarians with extensive experience in a broad spectrum of surgical models as well as anesthesia in all species.
